Since 1838 in the heart of the Karst region our old house boasts more than one hundred years of tradition in catering. Our restaurant is renowned for its hand-sliced dry-cured ham and typical home-made bread, for gnocchi with young horse-meat, jota with home-cured sausage, and of course Terrano wine, produced in the nearby Karst area.
Fifteen years ago the restaurant put on its “old” Karst looks. This was done using mostly antique furniture, of course restored, dating back to before the Second World War, while old photos and postcards were hung on the wall, recalling the early years of the twentieth century.
A few years ago the farm building was renovated and adapted to new requirements, obtaining
7 comfortable rooms.
The space was extended with a terrace, to accommodate even the largest organised groups. In summer visitors can relax in the garden, under the vines.
Extra attraction: children’s play area, bowling pitch, carriage rides by reservation.
Tuesday to Thursday from 11:30 am till 9:30 pm
